- A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in compliance, specifically in the banking sector with a focus on lending.
- Partner with business units to provide positive solutions.
- Strong knowledge of lending regulations and requirements.
- Well-developed verbal/written communication skills and interpersonal skills to be able to interact and communicate with diverse groups of customers, employees, examiners, etc.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to work efficiently and accurately.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize multiple competing tasks and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Demonstrated problem solving skills with the proven ability to exercise independent judgment in decision making.
- Capability to maintain confidentiality of customer information.
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word and Power Point with the ability and willingness to learn new programs and software.
- Demonstrated ability to represent the organization in a professional, positive manner.
- Ability to speak, read, write, and understand English well.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in risk management, accounting, law or similar field.
- Previous experience managing compliance projects and implementing regulations.
- Experience with cross-departmental collaboration.
- Familiarity with financial products and services and bank operations.
